Selections + Selectors Presents NANA
Doors at 7pm. Screening at 8.
Please join us for NANA, a film documenting director Serena Dykman’s journey with her mother Alice, retracing her grandmother’s Auschwitz survival story. Dykman investigates how her grandmother’s lifelong struggle against intolerance can continue to be taught to new generations, against the backdrop of current events.
The score is composed by animated feature film Anne Frank’s Diary’s composer Carine Gutlerner, and the sound designer is two-time Grammy-award winner Charles de Montebello.
The evening will be hosted by the ladies of A Womens’ Thing Magazine and the screening will be preceded by cocktails in the Wythe Hotel’s screening room and lounge. Following the screening, a short panel discussion will follow, led by the director.
After the conversation, guests are encouraged to hang out and enjoy some of the Wythe’s amazing cocktails while listening to a vinyl only set by a guest DJ.
