ABOUT THE SERIES
TGD Live is a monthly event series that brings together today’s artists, makers, and risk-takers for interviews and performances in front of a live studio audience. Each TGD Live event is recorded and audio will be published online for everyone to enjoy. Listen to audio from past shows on TGD’s podcast.
Catt Small is a designer and developer born and raised in New York City. She grew up on the internet and began to code websites and games at the young age of 10. Catt earned her BFA in Graphic Design degree at the School of Visual Arts and served as Senior Product Designer at SoundCloud before joining Etsy’s deign team. Catt is passionate about building community and previously led Tech Under Thirty monthly events for newcomers in design and tech. She is also a cofounder of Good for PoC, an initiative to help people of color in tech locate companies that put a focus on helping marginalized employees feel supported.
Kelli Anderson is an artist and designer originally from New Orleans, but now based in Brooklyn, New York. She draws, photographs, cuts, prints, codes, and designs a variety of things for herself and others. From interactive paper to layered, experimental websites, everything is done in her studio, which houses a 1919 letterpress! In 2015, she was part of Adobe’s Creative Residency and she is currently completing a three-month residency at A/D/O. Her pop-up book, This Book Is A Camera, can be found in stores and her forthcoming book, This Book Is A Planetarium, will debut this fall.
